Industrial Council

The Industrial Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technical University of Košice (SvF TUKE) consists of members of the SvF TUKE management, directors of departments, institutes and specialized institutes of SvF TUKE, and representatives of state and public administration institutions and the business sector.

The main task of the Industrial Council of SvF TUKE is to monitor the main trends in the development of society, especially in the construction sector, and, on this basis, to assess and recommend plans in the areas of SvF TUKE's main activities in relation to the needs and requirements of practice.

Cooperation between SvF TUKE and institutions from state and public administration and the business sector in the construction industry brings new experiences and perspectives on the development of a wide range of student competencies required by practice.

Knowledge of the needs of the construction sector allows us to create an educational process at the faculty in such a way that the expected level of theoretical knowledge and practical experience among faculty graduates is achieved through practice.

Members of the Industrial Council of the Faculty of Engineering TUKE participate in the education of our students and directly develop the knowledge level of students so that they are in demand and successful in the labor market.

Cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering TUKE and partners from practice is also about presenting the faculty with current new knowledge from the field of science and research in the construction industry and their possible implementation into construction practice.

Cooperation with institutions from the state and public administration and the business sector strengthens the quality of education, enables the acquisition of practical experience and increases the competitiveness of our faculty.
