The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Košice (SvF TUKE) offers various activities to secondary and primary schools, through which students become more familiar not only with the academic environment of the university and faculty but, above all, expand their knowledge in the field of civil engineering.

On the academic grounds of SvF TUKE, we organize events to which we invite students and teachers of secondary schools, where we present not only the possibilities of studying at the faculty and the faculty's premises, but they can also see the material and technical equipment of laboratories and classrooms, and above all, experience the atmosphere of our faculty.

You can visit SvF TUKE individually or as a group (class), but above all, you will be attended to by faculty students who, through their direct expression, will convey to you not only the study programs accredited at the faculty but also their personal opinions and feelings about their experience at the faculty.

Every year we organize an Open Day, where applicants for studies at our faculty and the public can freely move around the faculty and view the teaching, administrative, laboratory, research, technological, ... premises, and the tour is, of course, accompanied by expert commentary.

During the Open Day, you can turn to the Department of Education, study advisors with questions, get to know student associations operating at the faculty, and other extracurricular activities.

You will meet faculty students, meet faculty alumni, and take guided tours in the laboratories with teachers:

We will familiarize you with the structure of the faculty, the teaching system, study programs and organization of studies, the conditions of the admission procedure and important deadlines, you will also learn about the possibilities of completing study stays abroad, about the successes of faculty students and about the employment of faculty graduates in practice.

SvF TUKE annually announces the ConstruCom competition, which is intended primarily for students of secondary vocational schools specializing in civil engineering, but also for other students who are interested in civil engineering.

Every year, SvF TUKE participates in the Children's University event organized by the Technical University in Košice, where we present civil engineering and SvF TUKE to pupils of the 1st and 2nd levels of primary schools in an unconventional way.
