Legislation

The "Faculty of Civil Engineering" (SvF) was established by Government Regulation No. 140/1976 Coll. dated 01.12.1976, effective from 20.02.1977, as one of the faculties of the "Technical University of Košice".

By the Act of the Slovak National Council No. 94/1991 Coll., the name "Vysoká škola technická v Košiciach" was changed to "Technická univerzita v Košiciach" (TUKE) with effect from 01.04.1991.
