Symposium Background
The first CESBP was organized by Cracow University of Technology and Technical University of Lodz in September 2010 in Cracow, Poland.
Since then, the symposium has been held every three years at various Central European institutions:
- 2013: Vienna, Austria – Vienna University of Technology
- 2016: Dresden, Germany – Technische Universität Dresden
- 2019: Prague, Czech Republic – Czech Technical University in Prague
- 2022: Bratislava, Slovakia – Slovak University of Technology and Institute of Construction and Architecture, Slovak Academy of Sciences
- 2025: Budapest, Hungary – Budapest University of Technology and Economics
Why Attend CESBP 2025?
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with leading researchers, industry professionals, and academics in the field of building physics during the conference, as well as welcome reception and social programmes.
- Cutting-Edge Research: Engage with the latest advancements and methodologies in building physics. The International Association of Building Physics endorses the conference, and an IABP summer school is connected to the conference.
- Cultural Experience: Explore Budapest, a city renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture, from the majestic Danube River and iconic landmarks like Buda Castle and Parliament to its famous thermal baths and lively ruin pubs.
